About Justin
Brisbane-based acoustic guitarist Justin Franks brings his own “campfire pop” sound through his music.
With over 20 years of singing/strumming behind him, Justin is, in 2018, releasing his first single “Heart Wants”. A ferry master by trade, Justin has sailed the world, using the endless solitude of the ocean as inspiration for his music.
Since then, Justin has travelled the world experiencing different styles of music and ways of life. Musical influences include Paul Weller, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, UB40 and Oasis.
Back in Brisbane and on dry land, Justin is a full-time ferry master, part-time singer/strummer who celebrates food, and boasts a pretty decent shoe collection.
